Red Rooster Cocktail

1 ½ oz Vodka
½ oz Fig Liqueor (Figenza)
1 oz Blood Orange San Pellegrino
Dash of Orange Bitters
Slice of Orange Peel
Shake with ice, strain into a cocktail glass. Squeeze peel over glass and add as garnish.
This was made as a request for a cocktail that contained both vodka and Blood Orange Pellegrino. It was designed specifically for rooster cocktail glasses, but you can use whatever glasses you have on hand.
Fig and Blood Orange make a nice flavor combination, and could be combined with other base liquors, bourbon or gin would work equally well, but yield entirely different results.
